What Will You Do Today?
My passion for youth well-being stems from my own struggles during childhood. I vividly remember the intense feelings of self-loathing and not feeling good enough.
This commitment was further solidified through my experience as a parent of a child grappling with mental health challenges. While personal struggles are difficult, witnessing a loved one endure such pain is heart-breaking, and the desire to help them in any way possible becomes paramount.
Having faced these feelings firsthand, I am dedicated to making a change to the education system here in Aotearoa, New Zealand and around the world.
We know that well-being is the cornerstone of a good education yet we haven’t yet made it a priority in our system, now is the time for us to speak up and make the changes necessary in order to support our youth to flourish now and into the future.
